IF I STAY

I'd like to recommend a film which I watched recently, called If I stay
The director of the film is R.J Cutler.

The film is a romantic drama, based on the novel of the same name by Gayle Formanand.
The setting is Porland, United States. The main characters are two teenagers: Mia Hall, is a girl who plays the cello, whoso dream is to go to Julliard, and Adam, Mia's boyfriend who has a strange relationship with her and also sings in a band.

The things I liked the most about the film were the plot and the theme of love for music.
Some of the scenes are special because they are very emotional, but the characters are simple because they do not change during the story.

All in all, I really liked the fil, , and though it hasn't got a definite ending, but I think it there will be continued .
I'ts an easy film to watch, and it's still gas a message.

I represent a group called 'keep parks'. I am writing to you because we are concerned about the planssto build a motorway in our area.

In our opinion, a motorway is not safe, so the neighbors in this area will be in danger next to the motorway. If we have a motorway here, it will be a problem for hundreds of years, however, the park is natural and clean.

I think you'll like Tailand. We live about 10 km from the city centre but there are many buses or taxis to arrive there. When you're here we can do a lot of things. Visit elefants, the beautiful sunsets,...

And of course meet my friends and we play basketball together.

You should bring a t-shirts and shorts. The weather here is usually hot.

IDINA MENZEN

Idina Kim Mentzel was born in New York, United States in 1971. She’s been involved in show since she was five years old, when she participated in talent shows and musical productions in school. She studied Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.

Her big break came in 1996, when she was singing opera in "Rent".

In the years that followed she acted in several plays, as Wicked, Off-Broadway, Ask the Dust, Enchanted…

Since then, Idina has had a very successful actress and singer. The last work done was to double the voice of the film Frozen (2012).

ABOUT A PROBLEM IN YOUR TOWN

I’m writing because I was going by bike at the city center and I sealized we need more lane bike. In this photo shows that there is only road and sidewalk.

I think there is one reason for this.                                                              

The council cannot put bikes lanes as you can get piece of sidewalk or road as it asks the bikes going down the road.

We must do something about the situation.                                             

Maybe the best solution is that we are on the road bike but is a some dangerous. 

TV HIGHLIGHTS

The highlight of this week’s TV was definitely the reality show ‘Big Brother’. A group of people living in a house isolated and monitored by cameras 24 hours a day. They must pass tests, expulsions,…and win the ultimate prize.

Channel 3’s soap opera ‘La Riera’. The story of a family that has a restaurant, but one day the director decides to leave the direction of the business. The series revolves around four men and a mother, are the main reasons of plots.

Finally, something which also caught my eye was a musical contest ‘Oh Happy Day’ Channel 3’s. Catalan choirs performing songs to convince the jury of the program.

Sia Furler

Sia Kate Isobelle Furler is an Australian singer and composer.

She was born in Australia but now she lives in New York, with her boyfriend Erik Anders Lang.

Sia is quite tall, she’s got short blonde hair and blue eyes. The good think about her is she never surrendered when she was diagnosed with a disease, and when her partner died in the late nineties.

She’s creative and generous and she likes smiling and composing for the others singers.

MY LAST SUMMER

Hi! My name is Núria and today I’m going to explain my last summer. First I’m going to talk about my days in Banyoles, second about my trip to Provence, then I’m going to explain my experience doing premonitory. And finally about my trip to the Canary Islands.

So, during in my days in Banyoles. I met my friends and I went to a scenic arts summer school.
In August I went to Provence for five days with my family. There, we visited monuments, small villages. Everything was beautiful! But I ended up sick from the French.
During this month I studied maths for the September exam, it was quite heavy, but I passed and now I am very happy.
Apart from there I want to a Txarango concert with my friend in Figueres and it was very exiting! I loved it, we sang, danced, and ended up so very tired.
In September doing the premonitory in the summer school, the children was very cute. It was a beautiful experience and I learned a lot.
In 11th of September I went to Barcelona with my friend for the Catalan Independence. It was very awesome!
The first weeks of September I prepared all material to return to school and my routine.
The last week I want to ‘Esbart’ in the Canary Islands. On these trips I always had a good time, I'm with my friends, I dance, sing and laugh a lot.

My summer has been entertaining and moved and still makes me feel very sad cause it’s over!
